The backbreaker is a powerful item combination in Baldur's Gate 3 that combines the Killer's Sweetheart Ring and the Surgeon's Subjugation Amulet to allow the wielder to paralyze any humanoid in Baldur's Gate 3. These items are only available in Act 2, but can make much of Act 2 and Act 3 easier.
