It's filled with losers. 00:00:53:12 - 00:01:02:13 Bennett Tomlin When McCain passed away, he allegedly became furious when flags were lowered to half staff saying, What the fuck are we doing that for? While there, Trump said, I don't get it. What was in it for them? Recently, General John Kelly confirmed some of these stories on the record to CNN. He confirms that Trump did not want to be seen near amputees because it made him look bad, which was literally a joke 00:01:36:10 - 00:01:45:12 Bennett Tomlin in Veep. He confirmed that Trump really does not understand why people would do this and confirm that Trump did ask him about his son. 00:01:45:12 - 00:02:04:14 Bennett Tomlin Hilariously, when CNN reached out to Trump's campaign for comment, they sent back a response which shit all over General Mark Milley, who was not the source. Just really on the ball over there. This has led to people discussing the 2015 moment where Donald Trump insulted former prisoner of war John McCain and said 00:02:04:14 - 00:02:12:23 Speaker 1 He's not a war hero. Hero? He's a war hero. He's a war hero because he was captured. I like people that weren't captured. Okay? My theory is that insofar as Donald Trump has any stability to his beliefs, he needs to believe that the steps he took to avoid the draft were justified and good. 00:03:07:09 - 00:03:19:09 Bennett Tomlin That means those who volunteer for the thing that he specifically avoids and especially those that end up suffering the consequences. He doesn't want to look upon people who sacrifice because there's never a time he would choose to sacrifice.
